The FOX Theater was originally opened in 1931 and has played host to such names
as Frank Sinatra, Katharine Hepburn, and Bing Crosby. The FOX Theater closed in
2000 and plans were made to demolish the building and turn the space into parking.
Instead an extensive fund raising effort took place and the Theater was purchased
and restored to its original grandeur. The building features period art-deco design,
elaborate murals, and intricate light fixtures. Now home to the Spokane Symphony
the FOX Theater is once again a Spokane landmark.
Threegate partnered with the FOX Theater to develop a sophisticated web presence
that helped drive donations and awareness about the FOX Theater restoration effort.
After the opening of the Theater in November of 2007, the website has served as
an information portal for upcoming shows and events. The website features an entirely
data-driven structure, allowing marketing professionals at the FOX to easily maintain
the content, without any knowledge of coding web-pages.
Much of the development time for this website was donated by Threegate to aid in
the reconstruction effort.
